HIPPOTILE
In 2017, Safia moved house with the space to design her purpose built yard. This is where she was first introduced to 'HippoTile' a flooring system designed to replace concrete and also enable liquids to drain through and away under.
The time spent mucking out has been dramatically reduced as has the amount of money being spent on bedding, the stables have better air quality and it provides a supportive surface.
Strong enough to replace concrete but also draining, HippoTiles have several unique properties.The tiles are extremely porous, acting like a sieve, not a sponge. They have a fifty-times greater flow rate than sand. They do not allow any particles beyond the top layer, ensuring the drainage beneath stays clear and clean. They are very strong and have been tested to withstand weight of 1,000 tonnes per square metre with no degradation in performance. They are both flexible and elastic which makes them very comfortable and allows them to be installed very securely.

Heffers Studio, is a highly talented photographer who specialises in photography and graphic design for business's and individuals. He has been of huge help in providing key photos for this website. He goes about taking photos with a unique sense of style and originality.
